In the Spring of 2010 Barbara joined Vanessa Williams and Tom Wopat in The Roundabout Theatre Company’s production of
Sondheim on Sondheim, a new Broadway musical directed and conceived by James Lapine with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. This conceptual revue of songs by Sondheim, who won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, began previews March 19, 2010, and opened officially April 22 at Studio 54 at 254 W. 54th Street. Barbara was nominated for several awards including the
Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, the
Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and the
